About Bamboo Valley

We started Bamboo Valley in primarily as a bamboo delivery, removal, and planting service.  Since then we have expanded to growing a very special selection of bamboos that thrive in this region.

Our customers include homeowners and business owners who use bamboo to improve the living spaces around their homes and offices.  A few are also interested in growing bamboo for shoots and poles.

With concern for the environment we do not use chemical herbicides, or pesticides. For fertilizer we primarily use nearby compost sources.

Planting Moso in McMinnville, during and after.  This one was a mud bath!

Planting a 250lb 45 gallon pot of Phyllostachys vivax 'Aureocaulis' half-way down a steep slope in Portland.

After planting that monster Phyllostachys vivax 'Aureocaulis'.
