Statistics: Height: 40+ feet Diameter: 3+ inches Robert Young the man was a very important bamboo researcher and advocate in the USDA in the early-mid 1900s. This excellent bamboo named in his memory grows very well in western Oregon. It graces our front yard and has a play set built right in it. It's attractive light green and yellow culms a pleasant throughout the year.
